Structural strengthening is vital to improve the load-carrying capacity partially or severely damaged Reinforced Concrete (RC) elements. Fiber Polymers (FRPs) are widely used for purposes. In this study, use of Stainless-Steel Wire Mesh (SSWM) explored, as FRPs having limitations like high cost, less fire resistance, and brittle behavior. The experimental studies conducted evaluate mechanical properties SSWM, explore its feasibility a material. Three different variants SSWM i.e., 30×32, 40×32 50×34 considered study. in present study woven mesh made from stainless-steel wires manufactured India. Important such tensile strength bond with concrete surface experimentally evaluated Response test specimens respect ultimate load carrying capacity, corresponding deformations, rupture strain, crack formation failure propagation. exhibits 600-1000 MPa which comparable various types fibers strengthening. Based on studies, it found that performs better aspect, so can be good alternative RC elements compared other FRP materials.
